Callback Headshots was created when Actor/Photographer Dan Abramovici decided that his fellow performers are spending too much money on their portraits. He decided that he would offer an alternative: A studio that shoots only headshots, does them for a fair price, and delivers a great product. Because we only do headshots we are able to keep our costs down. No weddings. No bar mitzvahs. No three generations of Johnson's looking lovingly at the newborn addition to their family. Headshots.
THE SESSION
Plan to spend about an hour doing the shoot. You will receive your proofs within 24 hours and be able to pick out your 3 favourite looks. The ones you choose will then be professionally touched up and given to you on CD in both B&W and Colour for a total of 6 finished headshots ready for print.
Note: "Touched up" means that things like blemishes, and overly baggy/bloodshot eyes will be fixed up… It does not mean "make you look like a botoxed mannequin".
Clothing
Bring outfits that make you feel and look good. A combination of casual, business, and trendy clothes is best. Stay away from distracting patterns.
Hair and Makeup
If some hair and makeup help is needed, arrangements can be made for a professional hair and makeup person to work with you on the day. The studio is also conveniently located close to several M.A.C. locations that do makeup for a fee that goes towards purchase of their products.
Printing
Callback Headshots works with printing places in Toronto and Montreal to give you the best prices on your shots. We dont force you to do your prints with us and will provide you with your shots on CD free of charge.

Callback Headshots prides itself on being a supporter of Toronto's comedy scene. We have previously shot the 2008 Tim Sims Award nominees, Second City alumni, and other great Toronto comedians. We hope to continue building a strong relationship with Toronto's comedy community.
